Write In Thursdays is a recurring drop-in writing experience designed for local writers, creatives, and anyone looking to carve out focused time for their craft. 

Join us at our beautiful studio in Carlton for a relaxed, welcoming environment perfect for uninterrupted writing. We’ll take care of the vibe—with ambient music, hot drinks, and creative energy—so you can focus entirely on getting words on the page.

  • Location: Story Studios Australia, 170 Elgin Street, Carlton, VIC
  • Age Requirement: This event is for adults 18 years and over.

Meet Your Instructor

Adult Programs Coordinator, Matt is a screenwriting teacher at VCA and co-host of the movie podcast Tripod. Raised on Rupert Bear, A.A. Milne, Morris Gleitzman, and Enid Blyton, he writes light fantasy and escapist stories for kids and teens, bringing a warm, playful energy to his stories.
