On the first Tuesday of every month, Story Studios Australia hosts a Tuesday Tableread – a relaxed, supportive night where screenwriters can hear their work read out loud by real voices in a room full of fellow creatives.

All you need is a finished draft of a feature film or TV pilot, and a few mates to read the roles, and we’ll provide the cosy space, movie snacks, and even a big screen to project your script onto.

You’ll also receive professional development notes from a working screenwriter with over ten years of industry experience – giving you clear, constructive feedback to take into your next draft.

There’s no detailed critique on the night, just a big round of applause and a group friend and fellow creatives excited to celebrate your progress.

Whether you’re a nervous first-timer or a seasoned writer looking for momentum, Tuesday Tablereads is your chance to bring your words to life.
