A fortnightly evening of creative connection for local writers.

Wednesday Write Night is a twice-monthly writing experience designed for local writers looking for a dedicated time and space to focus on their craft. Join us at our beautiful studio in Carlton for a relaxed yet productive evening of writing. From 7:30pm to 9:30pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, the studio will be open for you to settle in and get your words flowing. Tea and coffee are provided to keep the creativity warm.

Meet Your Instructor

Adult Programs Coordinator, Matt is a screenwriting teacher at VCA and co-host of the movie podcast Tripod. Raised on Rupert Bear, A.A. Milne, Morris Gleitzman, and Enid Blyton, he writes light fantasy and escapist stories for kids and teens, bringing a warm, playful energy to his stories.
